DIRECTING THE CHAIRMAN OF THE NATIONAL HISTORICAL INSTITUTE TO ORGANIZE
THE OBSERVANCE OF THE 106TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE MARTYRDOM OF DR. JOSE P.
RIZAL ON DECEMBER 30, 2002

| I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of
the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby
direct the Chairman of the National Historical Institute to organize
the observance of the 106th death anniversary of Dr. Jose P. Rizal on
December 30, 2002. The Department of Budget and Management is hereby authorized to release the amount of TWO MILLION PESOS (P2,000,000.00) from savings to defray the expenses for the Year 2002 activities commemorating the martyrdom of Dr. Jose P. Rizal. This Administrative Order shall take effect immediately. Done in the City of Manila, this 8th day of November, in the year of Our Lord, two thousand and two. |
