Section 1. Paragraph 1 of Section 70 of the City Charter of
Dipolog is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 70.
The City Engineer. — There shall be a City engineer who shall have
charge of the Engineering and Public Works Department. He shall be
appointed by the Prime Minister upon recommendation of the Minister of
Public Highways who shall determine his qualification. He shall receive
an annual compensation as fixed by existing laws for City Engineers.
The City Engineer shall have the following powers and duties:"
Sec. 2. Paragraph 1 Section 73 of the City Charter
of Dipolog is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 73.
The City Health Officer. — There shall be a City Health Officer who
shall have charge of the City Health Department. He shall be appointed
by the Prime Minister upon recommendation of the Minister of Health who
shall determine his qualification. He shall receive an annual
compensation as fixed by existing laws for City Health Officers. The
City Health Officer shall have the following powers and duties:"
Sec. 3. Effectivity. — This Act shall take effect
upon its approval.
