This pertains to the Calendar of Activities (Comelec Resolution Nos. 3258 as amended by Resolutions Nos. 3284, 3306, 3322) particularly the period to hold political conventions to nominate official candidates for Senators, Member of the House of Representatives, elective provincial, city and municipal officials and elective regional officials of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) from November 15, 2001 to December 15, 2000.

Considering the observation of Commissioner Teresita Dy-Liacco Flores which states as follows:chanroblesvirtuallawlibrary

"We changed the date of the filing of the certificate of candidacy so this should be extended to January 01, 2001 or later because our deadline for the filing of the certificate of candidacy is January 14, 2001 anyway."

The Commission, after due deliberation, resolved, as it hereby resolves, to amend the Calendar of Activities for the 2001 Elections, particularly the period to hold political conventions to nominate official candidates for Senators, Member of the House of Representatives, elective provincial, city and municipal officials and elective regional officials of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM), to wit:chanroblesvirtuallawlibrary

DATE/PERIOD: From NOVEMBER 15, 2000 (WED.) to JANUARY O1, 2001 (MON.)
 
ACTIVITIES: Period to hold political conventions to nominate official candidates for Senators, Member of the House of Representatives, elective provincial, city and municipal officials and elective regional officials of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM).

Let the Education and Information Department implement this resolution and to cause publication hereof in two (2) newspapers of general circulation, for the information of all concerned.
