SUBJECT: TOUR OF ACTIVE MILITARY DUTY OF JUDGES. It has been observed that a number of judges have reported for active military duty without prior notification to or clearance by the Supreme Court, to the prejudice of the judicial service. Henceforth, in the interest of the orderly administration of justice and in order to foster proper administrative relations with the authorities concerned, judge called to active duty with the military shall, prior to his departure from his station, notify the Supreme Court so that arrangements can be made for the designation of an acting Judge in his place.
