EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 796 - AMENDING
THE COMPOSITION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN WATERWORKS
AND SEWERAGE SYSTEM

| WHEREAS,
there is a need to increase the membership of the Board of Trustees of
the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System to enable it to take
greater responsibility in the formulation of the System’s policies,
plans and programs; NOW, THEREFORE, I FERDINAND E. MARCOS President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution and President Presidential Decree No. 1416, de hereby order and direct: SECTION 1. The composition of the Board of Trustees of the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) is hereby amended as follows; The
Minister of Public Works and Highways Chairman
majority of the rank andThe General Manager of the MWSS Vice-Chairman One (1) representative of the Labor Union representing file of the employees of the System Member Four
(4) others appointed by
the President of the Philippines Members SECTION 2. Section 4 of republic Act No. 6234 is hereby modified accordingly. SECTION 3. This Order shall take effect immediately. Done in the City of Manila, this 6th day of May, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty-two. |
