EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 199 - DECLARING AND DELINEATING THE DALAHICAN PORT ZONE UNDER THE ADMINISTRATIVE JURISDICTION OF THE PHILIPPINE PORTS AUTHORITY

WHEREAS, the Port of Dalahican is a vital link to the islands of Marinduque, Southern Mindoro and Romblon;

WHEREAS, there is a need to delineate the Port of Dalahican for planning purposes to accommodate projected increases in port traffic and to program the development of the necessary port facilities to support the demands of the shipping trade within the region;  

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order:

Section 1. The territorial jurisdiction of the Port of Dalahican is hereby delineated and particularly described as follows:

“Beginning at point marked 1 located at S 364’W, 1318.72 M. from BM No. 9 CAD 112 LUCENA CADASTRE to CORNER No. 1, thence to point 2 at a distance of 117.24 m with bearing N 6223’E, thence to point 3 at a distance of 166.29 m with bearing N 6522’E, thence to point 4 at a distance of 236.49 m with bearing N 7420’E, thence to point 5 at a distance of 73.00 m with bearing N 1108’W, thence to point 6 at a distance of 106.62 in with bearing N 7945’E, thence to point 7 at a distance of 15.02 m with bearing S 7207’E, thence to point 8 at a distance of 60.10 m with bearing S 5138’E, thence to point 9 at a distance of 49.52 m with bearing S 8351’E, thence to point 10 at a distance of 18.57 m with bearing N 7000’E, thence to point 11 at a distance of 35.32 m with bearing N 6552’E, thence to point 12 at a distance of 39.93 m with bearing S 0529’W, thence to point 13 at a distance of 46.55 m with bearing S 7959’E, thence to point 14 at a distance of 514.07 m with bearing N 8652’E, thence to point 15 at a distance of 1045.00 m with bearing DUE SOUTH, thence to point 16 at a distance of 740.18 m with bearing DUE WEST, thence to point 17 at a distance of 311.36 m with bearing DUE NORTH, thence to point 18 at a distance of 383.06 m with bearing N 4303’W, thence to point 19 at a distance of 280.00 m with bearing N 4934’W, thence to point 20 at a distance of 84.90 m with bearing S 4511’W, thence to point 21 at a distance of 102.25 m with bearing N 5156’W, thence back to point 1, the point of beginning at a distance 76.00 m with bearing N 6047’E, all in all comprising a total area of 969,572.00 sq. m. more or less.

Sec. 2. The Dalahican Port Zone, as delineated, is hereby placed under the ownership and administrative jurisdiction of the Philippine Ports Authority, which shall, consistent with the regional industrial plans of the Government, implement a program for the proper zoning, planning, development and utilization of the port pursuant to PD 857 as amended.

Sec. 3. All other orders, proclamations and issuances, or portions thereof which are inconsistent with this Executive Order are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.

Sec. 4. This Executive Order shall take effect immediately.

Done in the City of Manila, this 20th day of September, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and ninety four.
