LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 813 |
In order to allow the Ministry of Tourism with its limited manpower resources to devote better and closer attention to the licensing, regulation and supervision of internationally oriented tourism establishments, it is hereby directed that the local, municipal and city governments reassume jurisdiction over the licensing, regulation and supervision of all sauna and massage parlors, as well as cocktail lounges, bars and beer gardens within their respective jurisdiction.
This is to take effect immediately.
Done in the City of Manila, this 15th day of February in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-nine.
