MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 11 -
CREATING A NATIONAL COMMITTEE TO TAKE CHARGE OF THE CELEBRATION OF
PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENCE DAY ON JUNE 12, 1986
Pursuant to the powers vested in me by law,
I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby create a
national committee to take charge of the celebration of Philippine
Independence Day on June 12, 1986.
The Committee shall be composed of the following:
The
Minister of Social Services and
The Minister of the
Budget
Mrs. Celia Diaz
Laurel
The Deputy Minister of Foreign
The Deputy Minister of National
The Deputy Minister of Public
Works
The Deputy Minister of Education,
The Deputy Minister of Labor and
The Deputy Minister of Local
The Deputy Minister of
Transportation
The Deputy Minister of
Tourism
The Deputy Minister of
Information
The Deputy Minister of Muslim
Affairs
The Chief Presidential Protocol
The Officer-in-Charge of the
Metro
The Chairman of the National
The President of the Philippine
The President of the Civic
Assembly
The Committee shall meet at the call of the Chairman and for the purpose of discharging its functions, may create its sub-committees as may be necessary.
The Committee is hereby authorized to call upon any department, bureau, office, agency or instrumentality of the government including government-owned-or controlled corporation, for such assistance as it may need in the discharge of its duties and functions.
Done in the City of Manila, this 22nd day of May, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty-six.
