TO: THE
PRESIDING JUSTICE, ASSOCIATE JUSTICES, PRESIDING JUDGE AND ALL JUDGES,
OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES OF ALL COURTS IN THE GREATER MANILA AREA
SUBJECT:
REVISED SCHEDULE OF WORKING HOURS.
In line with the
laudable purpose of conserving fuel and energy resources in conformity
with Presidential General Order No. 40 dated November 10, 1973, all
Courts
in the Greater Manila Area shall observe a five-day forty-hour week
schedule

Monday
to Friday 8:00
A.M. to
12:00 Noon12:30
P.M. to
4:30 P.M.
The
cities, provincial
capitals and towns covered by the Greater Manila Area are the following:chanroblesvirtuallawlibrary
1. Manila
2. Caloocan
3. Quezon City
4. Navotas
5. Malabon
6. Valenzuela,
Bulacan
7. Pasig
8. Pateros
9. Mandaluyong
10. San Juan
11. Makati
12. Pasay City
13.
Parañaque
14. Taguig
15. Marikina
16. Las
Piñas
Court offices and units
which deal directly with the public, like receiving and process-serving
units of each Court, shall have a skeleton force to work on Saturday,
from
8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., so that these
units may effectively serve the public. The Judges of these Courts
shall
inform those assigned to work on Saturday of their assignment three (3)
days in advance. An employee so assigned shall have a full day off the
following week, on a day to be specified by the Judge of the Court
concerned.
In cities and municipalities
or provincial capitals where two or more branches of the same court are
located, at least one Judge to be chosen by rotation, the actual number
to be determined by the Executive Judge according to the exigencies of
the service, shall hold himself readily available on Saturday for
matters
that may require immediate action.cralaw:red
This revised schedule
of office hours shall take effect for each Court upon receipt hereof
and
shall continue to be in full force until revoked.cralaw:red
