WHEREAS,
there have been savings realized from the appropriations for the
construction of the following completed bridge projects:cralaw:red
1. Lagangilang Bridge (Marcos Bridge)

2. Lucban Bridge, Cagayan

3. Linamon Bridge, Lanao del Norte
10,256.00
4. Demonstration Bridge, Benguet

TOTAL P741,720.05
WHEREAS, the appropriation for the construction of the Cauplasan
Bridge, Km. 505.53, along Ilocos Norte-Apayao Road, Dingras, Ilocos
Norte, is not sufficient for the completion of said projects;chanroblesvirtualawlibrary
WHEREAS, reappropriating the savings realized from the above-mentioned
projects would augment the limited appropriation for the Cauplasan
project and thereby expedite its completion.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines,
by virtue of the powers in me vested by the Constitution, do hereby
decree:cralaw:red
Section 1. The provisions of existing laws, rules
and regulations to the contrary notwithstanding, the amount of
P741,720.05, representing the total savings from the appropriations of
completed bridge projects undertaken by the Department of Public
Highways, is hereby reappropriated and made available for the
construction of the Cauplasan Bridge, Km. 505.53, along Ilocos
Norte-Apayao Road, Dingras, Ilocos Norte. chanroblesvirtualawlibrary
Section 2. The Secretary of Public Highways is
hereby authorized to re-program and disburse this amount for the
construction of the above-mentioned project.
Section 3. This Decree shall take effect upon its
approval.
