REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3478 - AN ACT
APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF TEN MILLION PESOS AS AID TO PROVINCES IN THE
MAINTENANCE OF PROVINCIAL HIGH SCHOOLS

1. The sum of ten million pesos is hereby
appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise
appropriated, as aid to provinces in the maintenance of provincial high
schools in the capital and other high schools in the municipalities for
the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-three. Thereafter, the necessary
funds needed for the same purpose shall be included in the annual
General Appropriation Acts. Sec. 2. The sum herein appropriated shall be allocated to the above-mentioned schools by the Secretary of Education in proportion to the enrollment therein. Sec. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Approved: June 16, 1962. |
