| REPUBLIC ACT NO. 616 - AN
ACT TO CONVERT THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF ITOGON, SUB-PROVINCE OF
BENGUET, MOUNTAIN PROVINCE, INTO A REGULAR MUNICIPALITY TO BE KNOWN AS
THE MUNICIPALITY OF ITOGON |
| Section 1. The
municipal district of Itogon, sub-province of Benguet, Mountain
Province, is hereby converted into a new municipality to be known as
Municipality of Itogon.
Sec. 2. The present municipal district mayor, vice-mayor, and councilors shall continue as such officials of the new municipality with the powers and duties of the same in regular municipalities and shall hold office until their successors shall have been elected and qualified. Sec. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its
approval. Approved: May 15, 1951. |
