AN ACT CREATING A SEPARATE
ENGINEERING DISTRICT IN THE PROVINCE OF ORIENTAL MINDORO TO BE KNOWN AS
THE SOUTHERN MINDORO ENGINEERING DISTRICT, THE OFFICE OF WHICH SHALL BE
IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ROXAS AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR. |

Section 1. Any provision of law to the contrary notwithstanding, the second congressional district in the Province of Oriental Mindoro is hereby created as a separate engineering district to be known as the Southern Mindoro Engineering District of the Province of Oriental Mindoro with principal office at the Municipality of Roxas. Sec. 2. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter. Sec. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Approved: March 30, 2001. |
