| REPUBLIC ACT NO. 1086 - AN
ACT PROVIDING FOR A MORE RIGID ENFORCEMENT OF THE PROHIBITION AGAINST
THE KILLING OF THE BUBALUS MINDORENSIS, COMMONLY KNOWN AS TAMARAW, BY
AMENDING COMMONWEALTH ACT NUMBERED SEVENTY-THREE, ENTITLED "AN ACT
PROHIBITING THE KILLING, HUNTING, WOUNDING OR TAKING AWAY OF BUBALUS
MINDORENSIS, COMMONLY KNOWN AS TAMARAW" |
| Section 1.
Section two of Commonwealth Act Numbered Seventy-three is amended to
read as follows: "Section 2.
Any person violating this Act shall be punished for each offense by
imprisonment of not less than three nor more than six months or by a
fine of not less than six hundred nor more than one thousand pesos, or
by both such improvement and fine, in the discretion of the court."
Section 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Approved: June 15, 1954 |
