| REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2238 - AN ACT TO
AUTHORIZE THE PHILIPPINE CHARITY SWEEPSTAKES OFFICE TO HOLD A LOTTERY
FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE "ASOCIACION DE DAMAS DE FILIPINAS" |
| Section 1. The
Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office is authorized to hold a lottery,
the whole proceeds of which shall, after deducting the payment of the
prizes and expenses as provided in Republic Act Numbered Eleven hundred
sixty-nine, as amended, be turned over to the "Asociacion de Damas de
Filipinas" for the maintenance of its settlement house. Section 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Approved, June 17, 1959. |
