| REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2720 - AN ACT
PROVIDING FOR THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF A HOSPITAL IN THE
MUNICIPALITY OF BROOKE'S POINT, PROVINCE OF PALAWAN, AND AUTHORIZING
THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR |

Section 1. There
shall be under the direct supervision of the Director of Medical
Services, a twenty-five-bed general hospital in the Municipality of
Brooke's Point, Province of Palawan, to be known as the Brooke's Point
General Hospital. Section 2. The Secretary of Health shall promulgate such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act. Section 3. The sum of fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the operation and maintenance of the said hospital during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-one: Provided, That no amount herein appropriated will be released unless the Secretary of Health certifies that a suitable hospital building is available. Such sums as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance in subsequent years shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. Section 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Enacted without Executive approval, June 19, 1960. |
