| REPUBLIC ACT NO. 277 - AN
ACT FURTHER AMENDING SECTION SIXTEEN HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-FIVE OF THE
REVISED ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, FIXING SALARIES OF PROVINCIAL FISCALS |
| Section
1. Section sixteen hundred and seventy-five of the
Revised Administrative Code, as amended, is further amended so as to
read as follows: "Section 1675. Salaries of provincial fiscals. — The provincial fiscals shall receive the salaries hereinbelow fixed: "(a) In first class provinces, A and B, six thousand pesos. "(b) In first class provinces, five thousand seven hundred pesos. "(c) In second class provinces, five thousand one hundred pesos. "(d) In third class provinces, four thousand eight hundred pesos. "(e) In fourth class provinces, four thousand two hundred pesos. "(f) In fifth class provinces, three thousand six hundred pesos. "(g) In all other provinces below the fifth class, the salary should be three thousand pesos per annum. "Provided, That vacancies left by provincial fiscals who retired or may retire under Act Numbered Two thousand five hundred and eighty-nine, entitled "An Act providing for a gratuity by reason of retirement to officers and employees of the Philippine Government who have rendered satisfactory service during six continuous years or more, and for other purposes," or any other retirement Act that may hereafter be enacted, shall be filled in accordance with the provisions of this section." Section 2. The provisions of this Act shall apply to the provinces of Mindanao and Sulu. Section 3. All acts and regulations inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, are hereby repealed. Section 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Approved: June 16, 1948 |
