| Section
1. Item D-VI-9, Special Provisions for the Department
of Foreign Affairs, page 93 of Republic Act No. 320, is amended to read
as follows: "9. No lump sum appropriation authorized for the Department of Foreign Affairs may be used for increases of salaries nor the creation of new positions except abroad." Section 2. This Act shall take effect July 1, 1948. Approved: July 13, 1948 |
