REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4536 - AN ACT
CREATING THE OFFICE OF HEALTH SERVICE IN THE LAND TRANSPORTATION
COMMISSION AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF THE NECESSARY FUNDS
THEREFOR

| SECTION
1. There is hereby created the Office of Health
Service in the Land Transportation Commission, which shall be under the
supervision and control of the Commissioner. The technical management,
operation and over-all control and supervision of said office shall be
under the Chief, Medical Division IV, to be appointed by the Secretary
of Public Works and Communications. The Chief, Medical Division IV,
shall receive an annual compensation of ten thousand seven hundred and
seventy-six pesos. He shall be assisted by such other personnel as may
be necessary, likewise to be appointed by the Secretary of Public Works
and Communication, to carry out the duties pertaining to said Office. SECTION 2. The sum of seventy-three thousand pesos, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to carry out the purpose of this Act. Thereafter, the necessary sum as may be needed for the same purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
