| REPUBLIC ACT NO. 504 - AN
ACT APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS, OR SO MUCH
THEREOF AS MAY BE NECESSARY, TO DEFRAY THE EXPENSES IN CONNECTION WITH
THE CONFERENCE IN THE PHILIPPINES OF SOUTHEAST ASIAN AND SOUTHWEST
PACIFIC COUNTRIES |
| Section 1. The
sum of two hundred thousand pesos, or so much thereof as may be
necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any funds in the National
Treasury not otherwise appropriated to defray the expenses in
connection with the conference of Southeast Asian and Southwest Pacific
countries to be held in the Philippines in the year nineteen hundred
and fifty: Provided, That no portion of this appropriation shall be
used for the purchase of automobiles, jitneys, jeeps, station wagons,
motorcycles and other motor vehicle, nor for transportation of foreign
delegates incurred outside the Philippines. Section 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Approved: June 12, 1950 |
