| REPUBLIC ACT NO. 506 - AN
ACT TO ESTABLISH A NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL SCHOOL IN THE PROVINCE OF
MINDORO |
| Section 1. There
shall be established under the direct supervision of the Director of
Public Schools, a national agricultural school in the Province of
Mindoro, at a suitable site to be selected by said Director, to be
known as the Mindoro Agricultural School. Said school shall be of the
Central Luzon Agricultural School type. Section 2. Upon the recommendation of the Director of Public Schools, the President of the Philippines shall set aside and reserve such portion of the public lands located within the Province of Mindoro as may be necessary and convenient for the establishment of the school and farm sites. Section 3. The sum of one hundred and fifty thousand pesos is authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of the said school for the fiscal year ending June thirty, nineteen hundred and fifty-one. Thereafter, the necessary sum of said purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts. Section 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Approved: June 13, 1950 |
