| REPUBLIC ACT NO. 531 - AN
ACT TO CONVERT THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF LA TRINIDAD, SUBPROVINCE OF
BENGUET, MOUNTAIN PROVINCE, INTO A REGULAR MUNICIPALITY TO BE KNOWN AS
THE MUNICIPALITY OF LA TRINIDAD |
| Section 1. The
municipal district of La Trinidad, subprovince of Benguet, Mountain
Province, is hereby converted into a new municipality to be known as
the municipality of La Trinidad. Section 2. The present municipal district mayor, vice-mayor and councilors shall continue as such officials of the new municipality with the powers and duties of the same in regular municipalities and shall hold office until their successors shall have been elected and shall have qualified. Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Approved: June 16, 1950 |
