REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5650

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5650 - AN ACT CHANGING THE NAME OF THE PROVINCE OF WESTERN SAMAR TO SAMAR

Section 1. The name of the Province of Western Samar is hereby changed to Samar.

Sec. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

Approved: June 21, 1969.
