REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6058  - AN ACT RESERVING ONE THOUSAND HECTARES FROM THE FOREST CONCESSION AREA OF THE EASTCOAST DEVELOPMENT ENTERPRISES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CATEEL, PROVINCE OF DAVAO ORIENTAL, FOR THE SCHOOL SITE OF THE CATEEL AGRICULTURAL AND VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

Section 1.    There is hereby reserved from the forest concession area of the Eastcoast Development Enterprises in the Municipality of Cateel, Province of Davao Oriental, covered by O.T. License No. 112-71, one thousand hectares for the school site of the Cateel Agricultural and Vocational High School: provided, however, that the licensee shall be allowed to remove the commercial timber inside the area.

Sec. 2.    The specific area to be segregated and reserved under this Act, shall be chosen by the provincial board of the province, with the approval of the provincial governor, the choice and the description thereof appearing in a formal board resolution.

Sec. 3.    The Director of Lands shall make the necessary survey to separate one thousand hectares from the said forest concession.

Sec. 4.    This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
