REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6701  - AN ACT DECLARING SEPTEMBER ONE OF EVERY YEAR, THE DEATH ANNIVERSARY OF GREGORIO AGLIPAY Y LABAYAN, AS GREGORIO L. AGLIPAY DAY AND A SPECIAL NON-WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BATAC, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE

Section 1.    The first day of the month of September of every year, being the death anniversary of Gregorio Aglipay y Labayan, is hereby declared as Gregorio L. Aglipay Day and a special non-working holiday in the Municipality of Batac, Province of Ilocos Norte.

Sec. 2.    Any provision of law, decree, order, rule or regulation inconsistent with this Act is hereby repealed and/or modified accordingly.

Sec. 3.    This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
