AN ACT RESTORING THE NAME OF "NATIONAL RESEARCH COUNCIL OF THE PHILIPPINES," AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE PARAGRAPH (a), Sec. 33 OF EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 128

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. Paragraph (a), Sec. 33 of Executive Order No. 128 dated January 30, 1987 is hereby amended to read as follows:

"(a) National Research Council of the Philippines as created under Act 4120 of the Ninth Philippines Legislature."chanroblesvirtuallawlibrary

Sec. 2. All references to the name "Philippine National Science Society" shall be understood as referring to the National Research Council of the Philippines pursuant to the provisions of this Act.chanrobles virtualaw library

Sec. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
