REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7671 - AN ACT
DECLARING JUNE NINETEEN OF EVERY YEAR AS 'ARAW NG SURIGAO DEL SUR' AND
SPECIAL NON-WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE ENTIRE PROVINCE

| SECTION
1. The province of Surigao del Sur was created by
virtue of the Republic Act No. 2786 which was finally approved on June
19, 1960. SECTION 2. June Nineteen of every year is hereby declared as "Araw ng Surigao del Sur" and consequently a special non-working holiday in the entire province. SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect immediately upon its approval. * Lapsed into law on January 10, 1994 without the President's signature in accordance with Article VI, Section 28(1) of the Constitution. |
