REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7809 - AN ACT
DECLARING SEPTEMBER 14 OF EVERY YEAR AS A SPECIAL NON-WORKING HOLIDAY
IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SANCHEZ MIRA, PROVINCE OF CAGAYAN, TO BE KNOWN
AS "ADLAW TI SANCHEZ MIRA"

| SECTION
1. The Municipality of Sanchez Mira, Province of
Cagayan, was founded on September 14, 1892 by the Spanish Governor
General and the members of the Catholic hierarchy assigned thereat. SECTION 2. September 14 of every year is hereby declared as a special non-working holiday in the Municipality of Sanchez Mira, Province of Cagayan, to be known as "Adlaw ti Sanchez Mira." SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. * Lapsed into law without the signature of the President on September 16, 1994, in accordance with Article VI, Section 27(1) of the Constitution. |
