REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7935 - AN ACT
CONVERTING THE ADIONG MEMORIAL NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY
OF DITSAAN-RAMAIN, PROVINCE OF LANAO DEL SUR, INTO A POLYTECHNIC
COLLEGE, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFORE |
Section 1. The Adiong Memorial National High School in
Ditsaan-Ramain, Lanao del Sur, is converted into a polytechnic college
to be known as the Adiong Memorial Polytechnic College.
Sec. 2. The College shall primarily provide higher professional, technical and special instructions for special purposes as well as advanced instruction in literature, philosophy, arts and sciences, especially to Madrasah high school graduates. It shall also promote research, advanced studies, and progressive leadership in its fields of specialization. Sec. 3. The college shall maintain a secondary education program and shall offer graduate and undergraduate courses in the fields of agriculture, fisheries, forestry, and industrial technology. It shall also offer short-term vocational and technical courses and other courses necessary to meet the needs of its service area. Sec. 4. Fees and charges, including government
subsidies and other income generated by the college, shall constitute
special trust funds and shall be deposited in any authorized government
depository bank, and all interests that shall accrue therefrom shall
form part of the same funds for the use of the College. Sec. 5. The amount necessary for the implementation of this Act shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of the Adiong Memorial National High School in the autonomous region in Muslim Mindanao. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. Sec. 6. This Act shall take effect upon its
