| REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8238 - AN ACT
CONVERTING THE MAPAWA BARANGAY HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY MAPAWA,
MUNICIPALITY OF MARAGUSAN, PROVINCE OF DAVAO, INTO THE MAPAWA NATIONAL
HIGH SCHOOL PROVIDING FUNDS THEREFOR, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES |
| Section
1. The Mapawa Barangay High School in Barangay
Mapawa, Municipality of Maragusan, Province of Davao, is hereby
nationalized, to be known as the Mapawa National High School. Section 2. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act. Section 3. All personnel, records, equipment, buildings, facilities, and other properties of the Mapawa Barangay High School are hereby transferred to the Mapawa National High School. Section 4. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter. Section 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval . Approved: November 15, 1996 |
