| REPUBLIC ACT NO. 847 - AN ACT
TRANSFERRING THE MEDICAL AND DENTAL SERVICES TO THE DEPARTMENT OF
EDUCATION |
| Section 1. The
Medical and Dental Services in the Public Schools which is now
functioning as a division of the Bureau of Health, since January first,
nineteen hundred and fifty-one, is hereby transferred or returned back
to the Department of Education as a division of that Department where
it originally belonged from nineteen hundred and forty-six to nineteen
hundred and fifty: Provided, That the supervision of hygiene and
sanitation shall be exercised by the Department of Health. Section 2. All laws, acts, executive orders, or parts thereof, inconsistent with the provision of this act hereby repealed. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Enacted on May 23, 1953, without the Executive approval. |
