| REPUBLIC ACT NO. 989 - AN ACT TO
APPROPRIATE THE SUM OF TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS FOR THE
RECONSTRUCTION AND EXPANSION OF THE COLLEGE OF FORESTRY BUILDING IN LOS
BAÑOS, LAGUNA, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES |
| Section 1. There
is hereby appropriated, out of the funds in the National Treasury not
otherwise appropriated, the sum of two hundred thousand pesos which
shall be expended by the President of the Philippines for the
reconstruction and expansion of the College of Forestry building in Los
Baños, Laguna; for the purchase of necessary laboratory and
office supplies and equipment, and for such other expenditures as may
be deemed necessary to carry out properly and effectively the purposes
of this Act: Provided, That any unexpended balance of the amount herein
appropriated at the end of each fiscal year shall be available for the
same purposes in succeeding years until the same is exhausted. Section 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Approved: June 2, 1954 |
