LOURDES VERGARA-ILAGAN AND RODOLFO VERGARA V. MAXIMINA, CEFERINA AND ROSARIO, ALL SURNAMED FLORES
G.R. No. 196984 (Lourdes Vergara-Ilagan and Rodolfo Vergara v. Maximina, Ceferina and Rosario, all surnamed Flores).
RESOLUTION
The Court, after a review of the records, resolves to DENY the petition for failure to show that a reversible error was committed by the Court of Appeals in its Decision dated August 12, 2010 and Resolution dated December 21, 2010 in CA-G.R. CV 83468 when it held that the signatures of respondents that appeared in the questioned deed of absolute sale were mere forgeries and thereby declaring the same as null and void; affirmed the award of damages granted by the RTC in favor of the respondents; and held that the cause of action of respondents had not yet prescribed.
The Court further resolves to NOTE the Notice of Substitution and the Entry of Appearance as Collaborating Counsel filed by Atty. Arceli S. Adan-Rubin.
SO ORDERED.
Very truly yours,
(Sgd.) LUCITA ABJELINA-SORIANO
Clerk of Court
