Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated APR 12, 1999.

G.R. No. 131351 (People of the Philippines vs. Mayor Wilfredo Randa and Gommy Macabangkit.)

Considering private prosecutor's motion to dismiss the appeal on the ground of abandonment thereof by accused-appellants who, as the record shows, have escaped from detention, as well as the Solicitor General's comment on the said motion and manifestation dated 3 March 1999 stating that he filed on 27 October 1998 the said comment, the Court RESOLVES to DISMISS the appeal in this case pursuant to par. 2, Section 8, Rule 124 of the Revised Rules on Criminal Procedure.
