Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated APR 12, 1999.

G.R. No. 132920 (Delfin Soriano, et al. vs. Leonardo Reyes.)

The letter of Atty. Victor I. Padilla, counsel for, petitioner, dated 5 February 1999 stating that he takes the blame for the dismissal of the petition for review on certiorari and denial of the subsequent motions for reconsideration due to his failure to serve a copy of the petition on the Court of Appeals and praying that this technicality be waived by the Court and that his client's case be given another chance is NOTED WITHOUT ACTION, the petition for review on certiorari having been dismissed by the Court in the resolution of 14 May 1998 for failure to submit the proof of the alleged personal service of the petition on the Court of Appeals and a verified statement of material dates, and petitioners' motion for reconsideration of aforesaid resolution of 14 May 1998 denied with finality in the resolution of 3 August 1998.
