Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated APR 12, 1999.

G.R. No. 135727 (City of Marikina vs. Court of Appeals, et al.)

Considering the motion of petitioner for reconsideration of the resolution of 2 December 1998 which denied the petition for review on certiorari for failure to submit an affidavit of service of copy of the petition on the Court of Appeals and an explanation for the non-personal service thereof on respondents and to sufficiently show that the Court of Appeals committed reversible error in the challenged resolutions as to warrant the exercise by this Court of its discretionary appellate jurisdiction, as well as the opposition thereto of private respondents dated 19 February 1999, the Court RESOLVES to DENY the motion with FINALITY, no compelling reason having been adduced to warrant the reconsideration sought.
