Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated FEB 24, 1999.

G.R. No. 131735 (People of the Philippines vs. Toto Val alias Johnny Cavador, et al; Toto Val alias Johnny Cavador, appellant.)

Considering the manifestation of counsel for accused-appellant Toto Val alias "Johnny Cavador" praying that the appeal be considered withdrawn in view on the letter of accused-appellant's wife stating that her husband is applying for parole, and that he be relieved from responsibility as accused-appellant's counsel in this case, the Court RESOLVES to GRANT the motion and to consider the appeal of accused-appellant Toto Val alias "Johnny Cavador" as withdrawn. Let this case be CLOSED AND TERMINATED.
