Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated FEB 3, 1999.

G.R. No. 132744 (People of the Philippines vs. Dante Gamale y Alvarez, et al.)

The Court RESOLVES to NOTE: [a] the letter of Stenographers Evelyn B. Garcia and Mila P. Balhon, both of the Regional Trial Court of Misamis Oriental, Branch 39, Cagayan de Oro City, dated November 18, 1998 stating that their transcripts of stenographic notes were already submitted to this Court; [b] the letter of Stenographer Evelyn B. Garcia, dated September 4, 1998, submitting therewith her transcripts of stenographic notes dated February 1 and February 21, 1995; and [c] the letter of Action Officer Homobono R. Lachica, Jr. of the Bureau of Corrections, Muntinlupa City dated November 24, 1998, informing that accused-appellants Dante Gamale Alvarez and Julieto Circulado were received in the Davao Prison and Penal Farm on February 7, 1998.

Considering the report of Atty. Edgar O. Aricheta, Assistant Chief, Judicial Records Office of this Court, that the transcripts of stenographic notes in this case are now complete, the Court RESOLVES to ACCEPT the appeal.
