Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated FEB 17, 1999.

G.R. No. 135623 (Florencio Serrano Gozon, Jr., etc. vs. Court of Appeals and People of the Philippines.)

Acting on the motion of petitioners for reconsideration of the resolution of December 2, 1998 which denied the petition for review on certiorari for their failure to submit a written explanation for the non-personal service of copies of the petition on respondents and to sufficiently show that the Court of Appeals ad committed any reversible error in the questioned judgment to warrant the exercise by this Court of its discretionary appellate jurisdiction in this case, the Court RESOLVES to DENY the same with FINALITY, the basic issues raised therein having previously been duly considered and passed upon by the Court in the aforesaid resolution and no substantial argument having been adduced to warrant the reconsideration sought.
