Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated FEB 10, 1999.
G.R. No. 135806 (Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation Labor Union vs. Toyota Motor Phil. Corporation Employees and Workers Union, et al.)
Considering the manifestation and motion of the Solicitor General, dated January 21, 1998, praying that his office be excused from filing public respondent's comment on the petition for certiorari, and the manifestation of Atty. Jaime L. Miralles, dated January 25, 1999, stating that he is no longer the retained counsel of private respondent Toyota Motor Phils. Corporation Employees and Workers Union, the Court RESOLVES: (a) to DENY the Solicitor General's manifestation and motion; (b) to require him to file public respondent's COMMENT on the petition for certiorari; and, (c) to require Atty. Miralles to SUBMIT to this Court the private respondent's confirmation of the termination of his services as its counsel pursuant to Section 26, Rule 138 of the Rules of Court, all within ten (10) days from notice hereof.
