Gentlemen:
Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated FEB 17, 1999.
G.R. No. 136769 (Ban Hua U. Flores vs. Atty. Enrique L. Flores, Jr., et al.)
The motion of petitioner for an extension of thirty (30) days from December 9, 1998 within which to file petition for review on certiorari is DENIED for late filing, as the motion was filed beyond the period provided in Section 2, Rule 45 of the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure.
Acting on the petition for review on certiorari, the Court RESOLVES to DENY the same for failure of petitioner:
(a) to file the petition within the fifteen-day reglementary period fixed in Section 2, Rule 45 in relation to Section 5 (a) of Rule 56, and
(b) to submit clearly legible duplicate original or certified true copies of the questioned resolution and order of the Office of the Ombudsman pursuant to Sections 4 (d) and 5, Rule 45 in relation to Section 5 (d), Rule 56 of the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure.
