G.R. No. 136910 [Formerly UDK-12668-69] (Confield Construction and Development Corporation vs. ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation.)

The motion of petitioner for an extension of thirty (30) days from December 6, 1998 within which to file a petition for review on certiorari is DENIED for failure to submit a written explanation for the non-personal service of copies of the motion on respondents and on the Court of Appeals as well as the registry receipts as proofs of such service in accordance with Sections 11 and 13 Rule 13, in relation to Section 2, Rule 45 of the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure.
