Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated FEB 10, 1999.

G.R. No. 136926 (Atty. Eleno V. Andales, et al. vs. Atty. Richard W. Sison, et al.)

Acting on the petition for review on certiorari, the Court RESOLVES to DENY the same pursuant to Sections 3 and 5, Rule 45, in relation to Section 5 (a) and (c), Rule 56 of the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure, petitioners having failed to file the petition and pay the prescribed legal fees within the period provided in Section 2, Rule 45 and to serve a copy of the petition on the Court of Appeals in accordance with Section 4, Rule 13 of the same Rules.

The motion of petitioners for approval of the one-day late filing of the petition and payment of the required legal fees is likewise DENIED for lack of merit.
