Gentlemen:
Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated FEB 17, 1999.
G.R. No. 137115 (Leoncio P. Nadal vs. Patrick Ocampo y Santos.)
In accordance with Rule 65 and other related provisions of the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure, governing petitions for certiorari, prohibition and mandamus filed with the Supreme Court, only petitions which comply strictly with the requirements specified therein shall be entertained. On the basis thereof, the Court RESOLVES to DISMISS the petition for certiorari, prohibition and mandamus for failure of petitioner:
(a) to submit a verified statement of the dates of receipt of the assailed decision of the Commission on Elections and of the order denying his motion for reconsideration of the aforesaid decision pursuant to Section 4, Rule 65 in relation to the second paragraph of Section 3, Rule 46; and
(b) to implied the Commission on Elections and to serve a copy of the petition on in accordance with Section 5, Rule 65, Section 4, Rule 13 and Section 3, Rule 46 in relation to Section 2, Rule 56.
