Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated JAN 18, 1999.

G.R. No. 131046 (Sofia Mangahas, represented by her surviving heirs, namely: Apolonia de Silva-Gener, Rogelio Mangahas de Silva and Lucio Mangahas de Silva vs. Amando dela Merced.)

Pursuant to the En Banc resolution of April 7, 1988 reiterating its "Resolution Adopting Policy abd Procedural Guidelines for the Supreme Court in the Implementation of Section 12, Article XVIII of the 1987 Constitution" that no motion for leave to file a second motion for reconsideration shall be entertained and Section 2, Rule 52, of the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure that no second motion for reconsideration of a judgment or final resolution by the same party shall be entertained, the Court Resolved to DENY the petitioner's omnibus motion dated November 20, 1998 for leave and to admit the incorporated second motion for reconsideration of the resolution of July 6, 1998 which dismissed the petition for review on certiorari. Moreover, the motion has no merit.
