Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated JAN 20, 1999.

G.R. No. 133062 (Alyansa ng Manggagawa sa Flexible-PACIWU vs. Hon. Benedicto Bitorio, Jr. as Director of the Bureau of Labor Relations, et al.)

Considering the grounds stated in the urgent motion for early resolution and for the issuance of a temporary restraining order, dated January 14, 1999, filed by private respondents, the Court Resolved to NOTE the motion for early resolution and to GRANT the Temporary Restraining Order prayed for.

ACCORDINGLY, petitioner is hereby enjoined from entering into or concluding a Compromise Agreement with the management of Flexible Packaging Products Corporation, effective immediately until further orders from this Court.

The Court further Resolved to require the petitioner to file a CONSOLIDATED REPLY to the comments of the respondents on the petition for certiorari, within ten (10) days from notice."
