[ G.R. No. 133324. January 18, 1999]
CARMEN CHAVES ABAYA vs. RAMON P. CHAVES, et al.
THIRD DIVISION
Gentlemen:
Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated JAN 18, 1999.
G.R. No. 133324 (Carmen Chaves Abaya vs. Ramon P. Chaves, et al.) and G.R. No. 133345 (Josefa Chaves Maestrado, et. Al. vs. Ramon P. Chaves and Natividad Santos.)
The manifestation with motion for leave dated November 1998, filed by respondent Ramon P. Chaves himself, alleging that he is presently without counsel to represent him in these cases due to the untimely death of his counsel of record, Atty. Ralph Lou I. Willkom, and he had tried in vain to engage the services of his lawyer-friends and praying that he be allowed to adopt as his own comment filed by his petition for review on certiorari the comment filed by his co-respondent Natividad S. Santos, as both respondents have the same set of evidences and witnesses and substantially, the same theory of defense, is NOTED and GRANTED.
Very truly yours,
JULIETA Y. CARREON
