Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated JAN 27, 1999.

G.R. No. 84831 (Pacencio Abejaron, as represented by his Attorney-in-Fact, Alejandro C. Abejaron vs. Felix Nabasa and the Court of Appeals, et al.)

The first Indorsement of Agent Jovito A. Uy, Jr., National Bureau of Investigation, Sarangani District Office, Alabel, Sarangani Province, dated December 2, 1998, returning to this Court the order of arrest and commitment of Juanita Clemana, and Vicente, Dominador, Virgilio and Demetrio, all surnamed Nabasa, dated January 21, 1998 with the information that Juanita Clemena and Virgilio Nabasa, who were arrested on December 2, 1998 at Purok San Roque, Talipapa, Silway, General Santos City, were turned over to the custody of the City Jail Warden, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, General Santos City on the same day, and that the whereabouts of Vecente, Dominador and Demetrio, all surnamed Nabasa, are still unknown, is NOTED, pending submission by Atty. Antonio Geofrrey H. Canja, counsel for said respondent heirs, of the latter's memorandum.

The copies of the resolution of July 6, 1998 separately addressed to respondent-heirs of Felix Nabasa at 9500 General Santos City, which were returned to this Court unserved with notations "Insufficient Address" are hereby deemed SERVED on aforesaid respondent-heirs of Felix Nabasa by substituted service pursuant to Rule 13, Section 8 of the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure.
