Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated JAN 27, 1999.

A.C. No. 3321 (Judge Fe Albano Madrid vs. Atty. Felimon Corpuz.)

It appearing that respondent Atty. Felimon Corpuz failed up to this very late date to comply with the resolution of June 9, 1997 which imposed upon him a fine of P1,000.00 for failure to comply with the show cause resolution of June 16, 1993 or five-day imprisonment if such fine is not paid within the prescribed period and required him to comply with the resolution of May 31, 1989 by submitting to this Court his comment on the administrative complaint, the Court RESOLVES (a) to IMPOSE upon Atty. Corpuz the INCREASED FINE of P2,000.00 payable to this Court within ten (10) days from notice hereof or imprisonment of ten (10) days if such fine is not paid within the prescribed period; and (b) to REQUIRE him to COMPLY with the resolution of May 31, 1989 by submitting to this Court his comment on the administrative complaint also within ten (10) days from notice hereof.
