Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated JAN 19, 1999.

A.M. No. 98-12-169-MCTC. (Re: Inhibition of Judge Cecilio G. Martin in Civil Case No. 01.)

Acting on the Order, dated 19 November 1993, of Acting Presiding Judge Cecilio G. Martin, 2nd Municipal Circuit Trial Court, Maluso-Lantawan-Sumisip, Basilan, inhibiting himself from deciding Civil Case No. 01, entitled "Spouses Nemia F. Guerrero and Santos Guerrero vs. Ruben and Elsa Falcasantos" on the ground that the plaintiffs are related to him within the fourth civil degree (Plaintiff Nemia Guerrero by affinity and Plaintiff Santos Guerrero by consaguinity), and there being no other MTC judge or MCTC judge within the territorial jurisdiction of Isabela Basilan, the Court Resolved, to DESIGNATE Judge Gilljie D. Lim of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities, Branch 1 at Zamboanga City, to hear, try and decide Civil Case No. 01, entitled "Spouses Nemia F. Guerrero and Santos Guerrero vs. Ruben and Elsa Falcasantos" at the 2nd Municipal Circuit Trial Court, Maluso-Lantawan-Sumisip, Basilan, utilizing for the purpose the personnel of the latter court. Judge Lim shall be entitled to travelling expenses.
